The BrewDog gold cans rush 2021 kicked off with a Hazy Jane gold from 12 February.
Customers will be given the chance to win one of the five 24-carat gold Hazy Jane cans by shopping any Hazy Jane multipack.
Due to the high value of the prize, the cans will be sent out after customer verification – lucky winners will need to register their pack code and proof of purchase online. The brewer will then ensure winners receive their prizes safely.
Also this year, BrewDog decided to celebrate the launch of its carbon neutral Lost Lager by giving away a free four pack to all who managed to get online and pay the postage.
The BrewDog website was inundated as fans queued to get their hands on the free beers.
Lost Lager is brewed using surplus bread provided by local businesses, wind power from BrewDog turbines, and the new streamlined process used in the brewing process uses a third less water.
The brewers recently achieved certified B Corp status, making BrewDog the biggest beer business in the world to be awarded the accolade to date.
The brewers B Corp status is part of its wider commitments to ensure that it is a ‘planet first business’. Following previous news that it was the world’s first carbon negative beer business, through its work double offsetting its emissions.
